Incoming, In process and Outgoing Quality Engineer

Job Description

1. Incoming: Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

2. Shall Participate in supplier audits, supplier evaluation and supplier development program.

3. In process: Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.

4. Out Going: Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work, Rescreening and confirming re-work.

5. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.

6. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.

7. Participation in Continual Improvement programs. Lead /Drive Kaizen Activities.

8. Lead/ drive Material review board, Purge, Deviation, and Problem solving meetings.

9. Publish daily process performance reports to Top Management.

10. Skilled in operation of measuring instruments.

11. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

12. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

13. Participation in New Product Introduction activities.

Experience

0 to 6 Years in Electronics Industry. Preferred Industry Type: Electronic Manufacturing Services.

Qualification

Diploma / BE in Electronics, Electrical Preferred certification courses in Lean, Six Sigma, QMS, APQP, and PPAP Etc.

Competencies

1. Documentation skills, Analysing of information, Process improvement ideas, kaizen, Collaboration, Reporting, Excel and ppt. 2. Knowledge of ESD, MSD, RoHS, IPC 610 –F , PPE, 5S, Material handling and storage, 16 TPM losses.
