Job Description

1. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers/engineers engaged in Incoming, In process and outgoing process/ product inspections.

2. Knowledge of quality assurance standards, procedures and Documentation Management System. 

3. Management (Tracking, Monitoring and Coordination) of ESD, MSD, RoHS, Incoming Quality Assurance, In process Quality Assurance, Outgoing Quality Assurance, Deviation, Purge, Calibration and Kaizen processes. Awareness / Work experience in ISO9001, TS 16949, PPAP, APQP execution.

4. Drive material review Board Meetings.

5. Review and Drive product / process issues.

6. Generate and maintain various MIS Such as ppm trends, Yield Reports, Cost of poor Quality, % Lot Acceptance trends, Audit reports, Non Conformity Reports Etc.

7. Maintain RMA (Return Material Authorization Track) and drive to take disposition actions for customer return products.

8. Follow Line stop and escalation procedure and ensure the unresolved issues are highlighted to management on time.

9. Management of QE Department trainings.

10. Train production and CFT on Quality processes.

11. Work with Product Development and Production personnel to analyze and trend product/process performance.

12. Assist Quality Manager in QMS, Customer 8D

13. Administration (Leave plan, work analysis, over time) of QE Department.

14. Knowledge of QC Tools, Lean, Six Sigma tools & measuring instruments.

Experience

4 to 8 Years in Electronics Industry. Preferred Industry Type: Electronic Manufacturing Services.

Qualification

Diploma / BE in Electronics, Electrical Preferred certification courses in Lean, Six Sigma, QMS, APQP, and PPAP Etc.

Competencies

1. Leadership, Communication proficiency, Ethical Conduct, Problem solving / analysis, decision making, People Management. 2. Knowledge of ESD, MSD, RoHS, IPC 610 –F , PPE, 5S, Material handling and storage, 16 TPM losses.
